Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport car rental

Ezeiza Airport (EZE) is the international Buenos Aires gateway, distinct from Aeroparque (AEP). Enterprise’s counter is at Terminal A arrivals: leave through the Central Hall and turn right. Passengers arriving in Terminal C need to reach Terminal A first. An airport car makes sense when the first drive leaves the city; for a central Buenos Aires stay, compare a transfer and later collection. Enterprise’s local terms keep its cars inside Argentina and require advance booking of intercity one-way returns. Its after-hours key box is a defined process, not permission to leave the car anywhere.

Best for: Buenos Aires outskirts or a longer Argentina road trip

EZE is distinct from Aeroparque AEP; hire makes most sense when the first drive leaves Buenos Aires.

Go to Terminal A for the rental counter

Arrival terminal C does not have the same Enterprise handover path.

Terminal A route

At Terminal A, Enterprise customers leave baggage through the Central Hall exit, then turn right to the nearby counter. Complete identity and payment checks there before following staff to the vehicle. Keep the flight details in the reservation, and ask about a delay if arrival falls near closing time.

Terminal C route

Arriving through Terminal C means first making your way to Terminal A international arrivals, then using the Central Hall door and turning right. Allow this cross-terminal movement when estimating collection time with luggage. An EZE booking does not mean every arrivals door has a rental desk.

Prepare the EZE counter documents

Keep Ezeiza separate from Aeroparque

Buenos Aires has more than one major airport code.

Match the ticket

EZE is the airport for this page; AEP is Aeroparque nearer central Buenos Aires. Confirm the flight airport and booking code before paying. A lower vehicle rate at AEP is not a comparable airport pickup if the flight lands at EZE, because the transfer between them adds time and cost.

Different return

If the outbound flight leaves from AEP, select it as the return point in a one-way quote. Enterprise requires intercity one-ways to be booked ahead and sets conditions that may include a minimum rental period. Never assume a car collected at EZE can be left at another airport without a confirmed branch and charge.

Compare EZE pickup timing

Delay collection if the car will sit in Buenos Aires

An airport handover is convenient only if it supports the first route.

Central city first

For an opening stay in central Buenos Aires, compare an official transfer with car hire, parking and congestion. A later city branch may reduce rental days, but check its opening hours and its ability to accept an EZE return. A hotel address does not establish where a rental car may legally park.

Prepare Enterprise’s Argentina renter requirements

The issuing script of the licence can change the document package.

Licence and translation

Enterprise asks for a valid national driving licence and a renter-name credit card. For a licence in non-Latin characters it requires an IDP or accepted notarised translation; other international licence cases should be checked against the exact policy. Carry the original licence with any permit.

Insurance and hold

Review the branch’s third-party liability, collision and theft arrangements, excess and category-dependent deposit before booking. Check payment cards accepted for the hold. Photograph all existing damage, fuel and mileage at handover and keep the agreement for any roadside or toll questions.

Keep this vehicle within Argentina

A cross-border road trip needs a different transport plan.

Enterprise restriction

Enterprise’s EZE rental vehicles must stay within Argentina and cannot cross into neighbouring countries. A trip to Uruguay, Chile or Brazil therefore cannot simply retain this car across the border. Plan a separate rental or other transport for the next country.

Domestic one-way

A different Argentine city drop-off must be reserved in advance and may incur a fee or minimum rental length. Enter both branches before comparing prices. Check the actual return location and hours, because a national network of branches does not mean every pair is available for your class and dates.

Use the stated after-hours return procedure

A key box works only at the contracted parking and branch.

Parking and keys

For an accepted Enterprise after-hours return, park in its company lot, lock the car and place keys in the express return box by the airport branch. Confirm those instructions on the active reservation, refuel as agreed and photograph the parked vehicle and gauge. Do not use a terminal curb or another company’s box.

Final receipt

The branch emails the receipt after processing the return. Keep photos and flight-time evidence until the charge and deposit settle. Allow time for the correct lot and a walk to the departure area even if no employee inspection occurs immediately. An after-hours drop may leave responsibility questions, so read the agreement carefully.

Check a different return from EZE

Price AEP and city drop-offs explicitly

Buenos Aires branch names can obscure a costly wrong-airport plan.

AEP departure

If the return flight leaves Aeroparque, ask for an EZE-to-AEP quote with accepted hours and any one-way charge. Enterprise’s intercity return terms may differ from an in-city pairing, so read the actual reservation rather than extrapolating. Check how much time a same-airport EZE loop plus transfer would take as an alternative.

City branch

A city return can shorten rental days when the final stay is in Buenos Aires, but only if the company accepts that branch. Confirm parking access and after-hours rules for that specific address. Leaving the vehicle at the airport express box would not fulfil a contract naming a downtown drop-off.
