The West Palm Beach airport is now coded DJT; the measured search phrase still uses West Palm Beach. The airport map places rental counters on Level 1 by baggage claim. Enterprise directs its customers from Carousel 2 to a vehicle shuttle, while a Europcar booking for 2600 James L Turnage Boulevard needs separate vehicle collection instructions. Confirm the booked provider’s actual collection and return points rather than assuming a terminal vehicle bay.

The West Palm Beach airport terminal map places rental cars with baggage claim and ground transportation on Level 1. Enterprise directs its customers to the counter by Baggage Claim Carousel 2 before its vehicle shuttle.
Selected airport rental operators and collection arrangements. Check availability in your search. Your selected offer and voucher identify the booked branch.
A counter location does not establish the vehicle bay for each provider.
Use Enterprise return instructions for its off-counter vehicle location.
A counter is not proof of a terminal vehicle bay.
The terminal map places rental counters by baggage claim and ground transportation on Level 1. Enterprise directs its renters from Carousel 2 to a vehicle shuttle. For a Europcar booking at 2600 James L Turnage Boulevard, confirm where to collect the vehicle; the address differs from the terminal. Check the provider and vehicle pickup address in the reservation before walking out. Record the allocated car's condition and fuel at the actual handover point. Do not apply Enterprise's shuttle instructions to another brand.
Old and new code references may overlap.
The airport serving West Palm Beach changed its IATA code from PBI to DJT in August 2026. Older confirmations, travel notes and search queries may still show PBI, so compare the physical airport and address as well as the code. The Level 1 counter area is a starting point, not a universal rental depot. A downtown West Palm Beach result is a separate branch; verify the street address and opening time before treating it as arrival-airport collection.
An immediate regional drive supports airport pickup.
A DJT car can serve West Palm Beach, Palm Beach island and northern Palm Beach County stops from arrival. For a first stay in a walkable central area, weigh whether the car will mostly remain in paid parking. Work from the first actual drive and the expected vehicle handover time, especially if a shuttle is needed. Enter the real return branch if leaving from another airport. Read the selected agreement for mileage, toll handling and any one-way charge.
Compare other US arrival airportsThe transfer and provider shuttle both affect time.
For a central stay, price a transfer from DJT and a later city pickup against an airport rental covering the whole trip. Account for the provider-specific vehicle shuttle, hotel parking and city-depot hours. The airport counter and a nearby off-terminal vehicle address can be part of one booking, so do not count every shuttle as a city pickup. Conversely, a city branch is not an airport desk merely because it appears under West Palm Beach. Compare exact addresses and complete itineraries.
Compare DJT with later pickupCode change and branch location complicate simple comparisons.
Use matching dates, car class, pickup provider and return address for each quote. Check the payable total, deposit or hold, excess, fuel, mileage and additional-driver terms. Add hotel parking and any city transfer under the alternative plan. For a Europcar booking at 2600 James L Turnage Boulevard, confirm the vehicle collection route and return address before comparing it with a Level 1 counter option. One-way return terms need the exact booked branch.
Estimate the full DJT hire costMatch the car class to the Palm Beach itinerary.
Count travellers and cases, then check the parking available at the first hotel or residential stop. A larger class may help with a longer county trip but be less convenient in a constrained garage. Do not assume a named model or on-terminal vehicle merely from an airport result. Check seat or accessibility requirements with the selected supplier before travel. At the actual handover point, verify the allocated class, condition and fuel against the agreement before driving away.
Plan passenger and bag space from President Donald J. Trump International AirportA legacy code can create the wrong expectation.
If a flight or an older email shows PBI, match its airport address to the current DJT reservation instead of booking a second location by mistake. For a late arrival, check whether the chosen counter or shuttle operates when the flight actually lands. Enterprise's Carousel 2 route does not establish Europcar's procedure. Keep the provider contact and pickup address available offline. A delayed flight may require a branch-specific late pickup arrangement; do not assume one from airport operating hours.
Terminal counters do not locate every vehicle return.
Use the return address and driving directions on the booked agreement. A Level 1 rental counter may be reached after a provider shuttle; for Europcar at 2600 James L Turnage Boulevard, check the booked collection and return instructions. Do not navigate to the passenger curb just because the airport is close. Photograph condition and fuel, follow the named company's key process and allow for any shuttle back to departures. For early handback, verify the provider's permitted key-drop time and where responsibility ends.
For a trip beginning with a Key West stay, compare flying to EYW with starting the drive in Palm Beach County. Avis collects through baggage claim at EYW; match the driving days, Old Town parking and actual return location in both totals.
Compare Key West International Airport collectionThe West Palm Beach airport terminal map places rental cars with baggage claim and ground transportation on Level 1. Enterprise directs its customers to the counter by Baggage Claim Carousel 2 before its vehicle shuttle.
Use the booked company’s return address and direction: the Level 1 counter does not prove that every operator’s vehicle return is at the terminal.
